Bruno Delgrange and LIM Group. A horse-centric acquisition by nature.

November 5, 2025

After careful consideration and preparation, Bruno Delgrange has joined the LIM Group.

This is a great chance for French saddlery to shine on the world stage, as the values and strengths of both companies are just waiting to be turned into synergies that will bene􀏐it the world of equestrian sports.

It is also an opportunity for artisan saddler Bruno Delgrange and LIM Group to join forces in a desire to preserve saddlery expertise for the benefit of athletic horses and passionate riders.

LIM Group and Bruno Delgrange: the meeting of two great stories

The acquisition of Bruno Delgrange by the LIM Group was a natural step for their respective presidents, Laurent Duray and Marco Petrelli, following their encounters at competitions around the world.

"At LIM Group, we put horses at the heart of our commitments. This relationship and loyalty, which dates back thousands of years, is at the origin of the group. As a guarantor of excellence in equestrian saddlery and expertise in tanning and saddle trees, LIM Group has always focused on innovation in the service of the well-being and integrity of the athletic horse. The acquisition of master saddler Bruno Delgrange allows us to further fulfill our promise, which is naturally centered on the horse," explains Laurent Duray, President of LIM Group.

"The holistic approach of Bruno Delgrange since its creation resonates with the LIM Group's adventure. In 1976, Bruno Delgrange became interested in saddlery. Fifty years later, his artisanal philosophy and unique expertise have enabled him to design exceptional saddles and found a company that has made a name for itself around the world," recalls Marco Petrelli, President of "BD," whose crescent moon knife emblem has become a mark of recognition for high-level riders around the world.

Continuity and development for Bruno Delgrange

With the CEO remaining at the helm of the company and the distribution model unchanged, this merger provides an opportunity to continue developing the Bruno Delgrange structure according to its plans, while relying on a group that is extremely committed to human values, responsible horse riding, animal welfare, the environment, innovation, and, of course, leather craftsmanship.

"By joining the LIM Group, we are preserving our uniqueness and expertise while enjoying the stability necessary for long-term craftsmanship, so that we can continue to write the next chapters in the Bruno Delgrange story with the confidence of our customers," explains Grégoire du Haÿs, CEO of Bruno Delgrange.

A merger in line with the LIM Group's mission

Excellence, sport, presence on five continents, unique expertise, precision, and collaboration... with its iconic Partition and Virtuose models, BD has been playing in the big leagues for 50 years. Its arrival in the LIM Group galaxy forms a constellation of excellence alongside Albion, Butet, CWD, and Devoucoux, but in its own unique way. With deliberately limited production, the EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) label company stands out with an approach that goes against the grain: quality over quantity, its true hallmark. Its partner riders applaud this choice, such as Pénélope Leprévost, who now has a saddle model tailored to her talent, the Philéas.

#YouWillOwnMoreThanaSaddle

With this hashtag, Bruno Delgrange conveys the spirit of its partnership with the group. It is with an architect's logic that the LIM Group has acquired the Provins-based saddlery. This logic allows the group to invest in the brand's future by embracing its heritage on the eve of its 50th anniversary.

"The heritage carried by BD, proudly brought to the LIM Group, will allow us to write the next chapter of the Bruno Delgrange adventure together, always with excellence. We can't wait for 2026 and all the new developments it will bring!" enthuses Magali Maurizot-Kur, Managing Director of Riding Activities for the LIM Group.
